Eden an I slept like koala bears through two flights, waking only to be fed and staying awake a little when we first boarded to watch the in-flight movies (les mis for me). Took out some money at El Prat and now we are headed to hostel sun and moon via the auto bus (11.80 € for both of us.)
Just passed a phone booth that had SOS painted on its side. Mountains in the distance and a mix of old shingled houses along the highway and endless tan buildings with green awnings. Saw a red line of box cars parked on a track a while back.
Walked along la rambla, the city's main drag in the evening. Palm trees on the right hand side and sycamore to our left. Everything is in Spanish first, then English then French. We crossed a bridge along the river to see Barcelona's "best view" (with a horrible view from the other way of a fluorescent-lit two-story shopping mall). Feel dead on my feet as I'm typing this in the lobby of hostel sun and moon. Buenos noches around the world.
